Hydraulic (GM Pump)

Option A: Sikky Line Kit

Sikky sells a Genesis power steering line kit (PS105, $167.99) for LS1/LS2-style pumps, either alone or as an add-on to their swap kit. It's the bolt-in route.

Option B: Adapt the Factory Lines

If you're not getting the Sikky line kit, you'll need an adapter for the high-pressure PS line that ends near the front subframe. Don't cheap out: other adapters have been tried and leak. Or mount directly to the rack with the Russell fitting below.

  • KRC 10122000: steel, male -6 AN to male M16 x 1.5 O-ring, straight (O-rings included). Summit currently lists it as unavailable, so check other KRC dealers.
  • Russell 648060: aluminum, -6 AN to 16mm x 1.5 O-ring, straight. Adapts directly to the rack.

Pressure Reducer

The GM pump puts out about 1200 psi; the Genesis rack needs about 850 psi. Use a pressure reducer kit with 2 or 3 of the supplied shims. Some have gotten away without shims, so this is debatable.
