In-Tank Pump Options

An LS needs more fuel than the stock Genesis engines, so many builders upgrade the in-tank pump while the tank is open. Drop-in options listed for the Genesis Coupe:

DeatschWerks DW300 series340 lphGenesis Coupe 2.0T / 3.8 (check year)

Fitment listings vary between sellers, so confirm your exact year and trim. Fuel pumps usually aren't returnable.

On the engine side, Sikky sells a Genesis fuel line kit (FFK-GEN, $55.99) to connect the factory feed line to the LS rail.

Fuel Pump Relay

Upgraded fuel pumps should run a dedicated fuel pump power relay. I recommend watching Brian Paul's video on wiring his relay kit: Genesis Coupe Fuel Pump Relay Kit | Install & Overview.

The green and blue wires are fuel level — no need to touch them.

OEM harness black (ground)Relay pin 85

Relay wiring: battery → 30, harness ground → 85, harness 12V trigger → 86, 87 → FP power.

The red/white OEM fuel pump wire is also available at the passenger fuse box and near the driver's kick panel — see Wiring.

EVAP Solenoid

The current consensus is to remove the EVAP solenoid and leave the line next to the fuel feed line (where it comes into the engine bay) open, or go back to the carbon canister and unplug it there. Either way it needs to vent to atmosphere so the tank doesn't build pressure.
