Motor Mounts
Engine position sets the tone for the rest of the swap: radiator clearance, header fitment, driveshaft angle, and accessory access. Most people use a complete mount kit rather than universal brackets, and stick with the same brand's oil pan and headers so everything lines up.
BK1 vs BK2: the factory 2009–12 (BK1) engine mount uses three studs to the subframe; the 2013–16 (BK2) mount uses a single center stud. Check that the kit you buy covers your chassis. LOJ, for example, designs for BK2 and ships BK1 orders with a drill and washer to modify the subframe.

Choosing
- Plan the whole package, not just mounts. Mount position decides which oil pan, headers, and driveshaft length you need. Mixing brands is where most fitment headaches come from.
- Urethane vs aluminum bushings: urethane is the street choice; solid aluminum transfers a lot more vibration into the cabin.
- Keep the steering shaft and fuse box in mind: header routing around them changes with engine position.
